Brasilea Foundation is honored to present sculptures made by Maria-Carmen Perlingeiro.

Her approach for act of sculpting does not only mean to create tridimensional, inherently esthetic objects but also to inspire them with their own particular aura.

Through working with the substance alabaster, a stone that suggests amazingly transparent lightness, Maria-Carmen Perlingeiro is able to form a vivid art. In interaction with light her art works do contrast or combine and even multiply shape itself and therefore enrich our habitual perception.
