It is an urban culture that besides leaving its marks on walls in public space, also occupies the facades and the very top of the city center\u2019s skyscrapers. Each pixador or group of pixadores create their own pixo, that is a unique mark, an original calligraphy, to be part of the pixa\u00e7\u00e3o-movement. This mark follows the characteristic pixa\u00e7\u00e3o style, with geometric and elongated vertically letters, but maintains unique traces which translate the identity of each individual or group.
\nAt Brasilea, the Brazilian artists\/pixadores Bruno Rodrigues and F\u00e1bio Vieira will present some of the creation process of the pixo and aspects of the pixa\u00e7\u00e3o urban culture with the participation of researchers Paula Larruscahim and Micaela Altamirano (Coletivo ArdePixo). The audience will be invited to try their own pixo and to discuss pixa\u00e7\u00e3o\u2019s social and political context with the artists.<\/p>\n
