DANCE SESSIONS AT THE BRASILEA
SoulDance stands for Marcina de Almeida, for passion, for urban dance, for Pilates, and for a positive body experience. The offering ranges from regular classes in various studios in Basel to tailored individual sessions just for you. soulDance embodies over 22 years of expertise and experience in a wide range of dance cultures.
On July 1st and 3rd, two outdoor dance sessions will take place on the Brasilea rooftop in collaboration with soulDance.
Our partnership with soulDance by Marcina de Almeida brings movement, joy, and cultural diversity to our rooftop.
More inspiring dance sessions are planned at Brasilea after the summer break in August – stay tuned!
Tue 1.7.25, 7:30–8:45 PM: AFRO DANCE
Special Guest: Chiara May Jarrell
A dance style that brings the feeling of summer, makes you sweat, and simply sparks joy. Let the music dance within you – under the open sky.
Chiara specializes in various African dance styles as well as the Jamaican dance form Dancehall. Most of her choreographies are a fusion of these styles, always honoring and respecting the cultural roots behind each one.
