Carlos Bracher – Retrospective

The Brasilea Foundation and the brazilian embassy in Bern have the pleasure of inviting you and your friends to the opening of the exhibition on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 6 pm, Caipirinha and brazilian snacks! Carlos Bracher is present. The exhibition will be inaugurated by the brazilian Embassador in Switzerland, Igor Kipman. The permanent Walter Wüthrich collection can be visited at all times. For the first time in Switzerland, the Brasilea Foundation will show a retrospective of the very well known brazilian artist Carlos Bracher. After exhibitions in Moscow, Bruges, Luxembourg, Düsseldorf, and Frankfurt it’s at the same time the very first one in the countrey of his ancestors.

The Carlos Bracher retrospective includes 48 works selected by the artist to present an authentic image of his artistic work. The artist received the most important art awards and had solo shows in the most important museums of his country. By the support of the brazilian Embassy in Bern, Carlos Bracher is a kind of a”brazilian-art-ambassador” in Europe.
